About this coffee
Firstcrack Kenia Kutere 250g is a specialty coffee that combines exceptional quality with social responsibility. Sourced from washed top Arabica varieties (SL28, Ruiru11, Bastian, SL34) grown in western Kenya, the green beans come from the Kutere washing station, part of the Kikai Cooperative Society on the southern slopes of Mount Elgon near the Kenya-Uganda border. Produced in collaboration with Vava Specialty Coffee, this Single Origin filter coffee supports local smallholder farmers, promoting sustainable livelihoods and positive social change.
The cup reveals floral notes and intensely fruity accents reminiscent of ripe red berries. The body is tea-like and finely structured, with a pronounced yet pleasant acidity. Best enjoyed as filter coffee, it delivers a vibrant, complex experience. Packaged in a 250g flavor-safe bag, it reflects Firstcrack’s commitment to artisanal roasting, innovation, and ethical sourcing since 2010, ensuring a delightful cup with a clear conscience.
